This free workshop is designed for children in grades 1 – 3 and their parents and teachers. Participants will learn the basics of story construction while focusing on the importance of illustrations in telling the story. Children will be encouraged to create a story and enter it in MPTV’s annual PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest. Art teacher Michele Bernau will conduct the workshop. Participants will view a DVD featuring books that have received awards in previous years.
