Intellectual Property Brief Advice Clinic. This monthly program will bring an
intellectual property attorney from Foley & Lardner LLP to the library for
two hours to offer brief advice regarding intellectual property. Don't know
where to start with your invention? Do you have questions about establishing or protecting your intellectual property? Feel free to drop by! No
reservations required.

is providing free health services at Milwaukee Public Library Center Street
Branch for community members. We are here to serve you and your healthcare
needs. Services available include Consultation with a nurse practitioner
(immediate care needs, medication review, one-on-one education, and goal
setting) Consultation with a nurse practitioner for children, the guardian must
be present (immediate needs, health questions, review milestones and safety)
Health Screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar, depression, anxiety) Care
Navigation and Referrals (connection to a medical home, behavioral health
referrals, community resource referrals). Services are provided at no cost.

Registering to vote is the first step to participating in our democracy. If you have moved, changed your name, or have not voted in a while, you might need to re-register. Now is the time to get registered or verify that your registration is current. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy. This is a tabling event where League representatives will be onsite to verify your voter registration status, help you re-register, and learn more about voting and elections in Milwaukee.

Join us for a special edition of ArtBookClub in the Richard and Lucile Krug Rare Books Room on the second floor of Central Library. There will be rare books showcasing a variety of time periods, topics, and wondrous things to behold. There is no need to register -- drop in any time during the program to browse the material at your leisure. Librarians will be present to answer questions.

Journaling is an inexpensive way to increase mindfulness and center self-care. Putting pen to paper can help process feelings, improve focus, and gain insight into emotions and/or situations. At this session, we will use writing prompts to dig deeper to answer life’s big questions and share favorite journaling techniques for continued writing success. Perfect for both new and experienced journalers!
