Florentine Opera Company Sister Carrie Book Club

In anticipation of the world premiere of a new American opera, Sister Carrie, join the Florentine Opera Company in an exploration of the groundbreaking Theodore Dreiser novel of the same name. Sister Carrie follows Carrie Meeber, a young woman from rural Wisconsin on the eve of the 20th century as she migrates to the big city and ultimately becomes a Broadway star. Sessions include visits from Florentine Opera Company guests and exclusive previews from the opera! Please register in advance.
