Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate (MYPL), Emily Igwike, will lead a generative workshop open to youth poets ages 13-19. The workshop will be focused around food as a sensory experience, as a way to bring people together, and as a way to forge and relive memories. The workshop will also include an info session for students to learn more about the MYPL program. Snacks will be available for inspiration and sustenance.
